Your Safety = Our Focus

We are committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our employees and any other people who may be affected by BlueStone Personnel operations. BlueStone Personnel will pursue best practice OH&S and fulfill all of our statutory duties at all times, working with clients, candidates and colleagues to ensure a safer working environment for all.

Prior to commencing work with new clients and as part of our OHS compliance, BlueStone Personnel will make arrangements with clients to ensure that they have adequate OHS policies in place. We take your safety seriously and will ensure that safe work practices are employed at all times. For our contractors who are ‘on-hire’ arrangements, both BlueStone Personnel and your client site have a joint responsibility for your safety.


BlueStone Personnel Safety Priorities

BlueStone Personnel will ensure that :-

  • An effective OHS program is introduced and maintained to ensure all workplace hazards are identified, associated risks assessed and, in consultation with our customers, appropriate measures introduced to control these risks

  • The OH&S program is monitored and reviewed to reflect changing circumstances at sites

  • Appropriate records are kept in relation to the risk management program

  • Employees are consulted on OHS issues relevant to them

  • Our clients observe industry best practice standards regarding the safety of their operations

  • All necessary registration, certification and licensing requirements are complied with

  • Employees are appropriately trained, supervised and provided with adequate information to undertake their duties safely

  • All accidents, incidents and near misses are reported to the immediate customer supervisor and BlueStone Personnel consultant, the circumstances investigated and recorded and appropriate measures taken to prevent any recurrence.

BlueStone Personnel Risk Management Team

BlueStone Personnel Risk Management Team ensures that our OH&S procedures, policies and practices adhere to OH&S legislative requirements and that Workers Compensation insurance is in place, as required by law.


Safety Assurance Program

BlueStone Personnel Safety Assurance Program has been designed to ensure that our candidates have been assessed and are aware of OH&S responsibilities.


Pre-employment Induction

The Associate Induction Program is a comprehensive and interactive program that includes information on employment policies and procedures, OH&S and positive impressions. We use WorkPro to provide our pre-employment induction process for our ‘on-hire’ contract engagements.
